Traffic and Construction at the NLEX San Fernando Interchange

PamCham, MNTC, DPWH and the San Fernando City Traffic Management sit down to discuss the increasing congestion and corresponding mitigating measures to alleviate the daily traffic at the NLEX San Fernando Interchange that is the result of the ongoing widening and rehabilitation works in the area.

MNTC assures PamCham that the road works are almost complete and traffic flow is expected to improve once the newly paved lanes become passable by the end of the month of September. But even before the target date, MNTC and their contractor committed to execute immediately doable actions, like getting rid of unused concrete barriers and cleaning of construction debris that will widen the now passable lanes.
