The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham) has reiterated its firm partnership and steadfast support for the City of San Fernando during a recent courtesy visit with 2nd-term Mayor Vilma Caluag.

The Chamber was represented by Acting Chairman Terry David-Carlos, President Atty. Paul L. Yusi, Vice President Dior A. Laus, Assistant Corporate Secretary Atty. Ryan T. Tan, and Directors Jim B. Jimenez, Ruben Sy, Bert Batac, Robert H. Lo, and Leo Viacrusis.

During the meeting, PamCham expressed its unwavering support for the city’s development agenda and commended Mayor Caluag for her open-door policy, inclusive governance, and genuine engagement with the private sector.

President Atty. Paul Yusi led and facilitated the discussions, ensuring that every point was thoroughly addressed.

Dir. Atty. Christopher Rhyan T. Tan, Chair of the Infrastructure Development Committee, presented key advocacy priorities which included proposals for the construction of a permanent flyover at the Dolores intersection, solutions to the ongoing flooding issues in the southern part of the city, improvements to Prime Water’s supply and distribution, and initiatives to alleviate traffic congestion.

In an effort to stimulate investment and expand economic opportunities, PamCham announced its partnership with the Office of the Commercial Attache of the Indian Embassy for the forthcoming Indian Business Forum and Roadshow, scheduled for October in the City of San Fernando.

This initiative aims to connect local entrepreneurs with Indian investors operating in the Philippines, fostering potential partnerships, job creation, and business expansion.

With over 500 active members, PamCham continues to lead in civic engagement and public-private collaboration through its regular Public-Private Consultations.

PamCham also recognized Mayor Vilma Caluag for her inclusive leadership and commitment to enhancing public-private cooperation. This meeting not only solidified PamCham’s partnership with the city but also highlighted a shared vision for a resilient, competitive, and prosperous City of San Fernando.
