

The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham), through its Committee on Trade and Investments, Promotions, held a consultation meeting to discuss the development of agricultural and aquaculture projects across various districts, with particular attention to initiatives in the 4th District. The meeting focused on identifying challenges, exploring potential solutions, and developing plans aimed at enhancing local industries.
Present during the meeting were key representatives from national government agencies who provided technical insights, policy guidance, and available program support:

- Stephen Arlo Lapid, OIC – Fisheries Post Harvest and Marketing, BFAR

Also present, Committee Director-in-Charge Jim Jimenez, Chairperson Anton Tyrone Rodriguez, and Co-Chairperson Michelle De Vera led the consultation. Members of the Committee from YEP, including Ely Bautista, Miguel Goco, and Melvin Tan.
The meeting covered a range of topics, including public-private partnerships, regional comparisons, and the pressing need for improved technology and infrastructure in the fishing and farming industries. Additionally, the discussion delved into economic initiatives, funding sources, and the potential for tourism development—with a focus on crafting viable proposals and engaging key stakeholders to drive growth in underdeveloped areas.
