PAMCHAM CHAIRMAN RENE ROMERO PROPOSES EXPANSION OF TULAOC BRIDGE TO FOUR LANES
The Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham) Chairman Rene Romero has recommended expanding the Tulaoc Overpass Bridge in San Simon, Pampanga, to four lanes, coinciding with its scheduled rehabilitation starting February 24, as announced by DPWH Region III.
It can be recalled that President Bongbong Marcos ordered the bridge’s rehabilitation following the severe flooding and “carmageddon” that paralyzed NLEX in 2024. While the road has already been elevated, Romero emphasized the need to raise and expand the overpass bridge to ensure smoother and safer passage for large vehicles.
